Day by day

Day 1

Rome – Bagnoregio – Arezzo

Explore Rome’s iconic landmarks, including the Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Il Vittoriano and Trevi Fountain. Enjoy a complimentary 1-hour Rome Citywalk. Optional visit to Bagnoregio before travelling to Arezzo for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Arezzo – Florence – Pisa – Genoa

Discover Florence’s artistic heritage with visits to Piazzale Michelangelo, Florence Cathedral, Palazzo Vecchio and the Basilica of the Holy Cross. Stop at a leather shop before visiting the Leaning Tower of Pisa, then continue to Genoa.

Day 3

Genoa – Monaco – Nice – Cannes – Avignon

Explore Monaco, enjoy the scenic Bay of Angels and Promenade des Anglais in Nice, and discover Cannes, famous for its international film festival. Continue to Avignon for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Avignon – Gordes – Sénanque Abbey – Avignon

Visit the historic city of Avignon and the exterior of the Palais des Papes. Explore the hilltop village of Gordes and Sénanque Abbey. Optional visit to the Luberon Lavender Museum. Lavender viewing is seasonal, generally from June to August.

Day 5

Avignon – Arles – Barcelona

Follow in Vincent van Gogh’s footsteps in Arles, visiting the Langlois Bridge and Van Gogh Café. Continue to Barcelona, with an optional visit to Olympic Beach, time permitting.

Day 6

Barcelona – Montserrat – Barcelona

Visit Montserrat Mountain and Monastery, then explore Barcelona’s landmarks, including the Columbus Monument, Las Ramblas, Sagrada Família, Camp Nou exterior and Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium. Enjoy a complimentary 1-hour Barcelona Citywalk.

Day 7

Barcelona – Valencia – Alicante

Travel along Spain’s coastline to Valencia, with an optional stop in Peñíscola. Explore Plaza de la Reina and the historic city gates before continuing to Alicante for an overnight stay.

Day 8

Alicante – Granada – Mijas – Málaga

Discover Granada and the exterior of the Alhambra Palace, with time for pre-booked entry where arranged. Continue to the picturesque white village of Mijas before travelling to Málaga. Optional Málaga city tour and Costa del Sol beach visit.

Day 9

Málaga – Ronda – Seville

Explore Ronda’s dramatic cliffs, historic streets and famous bridge. Continue to Seville to discover its cathedral, Santa Cruz quarter, Torre del Oro, María Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Optional entry to Seville Cathedral and the Royal Alcázar, subject to arrangements.

Day 10

Seville – Cabo da Roca – Lisbon

Travel to Portugal and visit Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe. In Lisbon, admire Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries and Jerónimos Monastery from the exterior, followed by free time at the designated squares.
